Marathon Pundit has a good one about Auntie Jan Schakowsky's convicted felon hubby Bob, who thinks Obama is the man to bring Change to the White House. Writes MP:My congresscritter is the über-liberal, oops, make that über-progressive, Jan Schakowsky of Evanston. Her husband is political activist Robert Creamer, who spent most of the second half of 2006 living at the Federal Correctional Institute in Terre Haute, Indiana. Illinois conservative journalist Tom Roeser discovered that Creamer was a "Campaign Culture" instructor, where the consumer advocacy CEO talked about "'persuadable' and 'mobilizable' voters, application of quantitative approaches, and different forms of messaging and research."

this is not exactly a comment on this post, but it is a close as any here.
i just wanted to point out that the scheme that is being touted to replace obama with schakowsky, schakowsky with moore, etc, has a small flaw. the congressman would not be appointed. there would be a special election in 120 days. the least the clowns could do it check up on the process. i hear you can find this stuff on the internets if you bother to look.

These clowns don't let a little thing like the TRUTH bother them. Under their tinfoil hats conspiracy theories abound. They are convinced that Joe Moore and his friends--yes, FRIENDS--spend every waking moment obsessing over what they blog.
We could even pity them if they weren't so foul.

Oh, they wouldn't need an appointment, just an "annointment" ala Heather Steans right? Yes, I know she was elected, but she had "the machine" behind her and the deck well stacked. You guys are using a little loophole and missing the point I think.
You might find lots to fault with Craig & Mannis, but can you deny that there is this grain of truth in that the machine politics in IL and Chicago is stifling and sickening? Like it or not, they have raised awareness about that. Of course, this isn't convenient for some people.
I'm not saying their blogs are the end all be all, but no one else is covering it as locally as they are.
But hey, knock yourself out. Glad you found an outlet for yourself. I myself am done with the bloging. Too many idiots around here for my liking.
